CIM qualifications will help you develop the skills, knowledge and personal abilities you need to succeed within a Marketing role.
At Foundation level, Marketing Principles is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge and understanding to perform professionally in a support-level marketing role. The second unit; Digital Essentials provides an understanding of what is meant by digital marketing and the key communication tools used.
At Professional level, it provides the knowledge and understanding of the function of marketing within the organisation and demonstrates how an appreciation of customer behaviour can enable effective targeting. It outlines an understanding of how external environmental influences affect planning and how information enables decision making; and the elements of the marketing mix and how these are applied to address market and customer needs.

Classroom sessions are designed to develop students’ knowledge through discussion, case studies, skills practice and presentations.

Information taught in these courses cover Marketing Essentials, Digital Marketing and Integrated Communications. You can carry on studying other levels of CIM courses or consider a career move into another professional area.
