Students' welfare is a key priority for the College and it is our duty to support those who have any kind of personal or academic problems.
We are committed to providing you with the highest standard of information, advice and guidance during your time at Milton Keynes College, starting before the application process right up until you finish your course and begin the next stage in your life.
There is a welfare support service that is personal, specialist and confidential and which aims always to be respectful and understanding.
Some of the topics we regularly offer support with are:
-Accommodation, i.e. help finding it and dealing with homelessness
-Benefit advice, i.e. signposting to various agencies on issues about benefits, debt management, health and other issues
For more information you can e-mail us or visit the Bursary and Student Funds Office on either campus.
We offer a range of pastoral support, including counselling. Find out more by speaking to a learning coach or personal tutor, or by visiting the well being hub on Moodle.
The Student Services Team along with other areas manage the college events calendar as well as the Student Voice. We work with NCS (National Careers Service) and can help with setting up clubs and activities across the College.
