Our multiple award-winning on campus restaurant, The Brasserie is back after the summer break, and is better than ever.

What’s new?

Due to the popular demand of the eggs menu, the full brunch menu will now be available daily until lunchtime. The eggs used are sourced from happy chickens just six miles away, and can be paired with a coffee from beans roasted just over the county border in Bedfordshire. Sounds egg-celent!

Lunch Menu: Tuesday – Thursday 12-7pm, Friday 12-2pm

Hours have been extended so you can order hot meals cooked by the student chefs during and after work. New to the menu and an absolute must try is our grilled cheese sandwich, and don’t worry because the peri-peri chicken wrap hasn’t gone anywhere!

Afternoon Tea – Tuesday – Thursday 2-4pm (starting in October)

Full tea including savoury options and a sweet tea which both include a selection of mini cakes, sweet scones and cheese scones.

Taste Night – Thursday at 7pm 

Hosted by our Level 3 students, the seasonal five course menu is fun, skilled and exciting. It will change every few weeks as our young chefs develop their skills and customer feedback informs their creations.

BIG cakes

You may have seen around campus in the refectories lots of big cakes, slices of these will be available daily across the sites but if that isn’t enough then contact us if you would like to buy a whole one, great for a team meeting or just for days ending in Y.

BIG cake Thursdays

Keep all your calories spare for the first Thursday of the month. The Brasserie will be selling whole cakes, little cakes, cake pops, basically anything and everything fun made of cake.

The “C” word

Christmas menus are now live on the website so get booking! We already have dates that are full with MKC staff so do no leave it until it is too late. This year we also have an extended menu inclusive of three courses, a drink and sweet treats.

Polite request

Juggling an environment which is open and inviting to staff and students but also represents the AA accreditation standard is challenging at times and we have to listen to feedback from our external guests. With this in mind please help us by refraining from eating your own food and having meetings with laptops during lunchtime hours in the main dining room.
