MK College has been praised for the excellent results of its students studying the Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing.
The Awarding Body at The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has commended the College for the excellent standard of results achieved for assessments submitted in the April 2020 assessments session for the Marketing Principles module of the Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing.
Tutor Amber Lawson said: “The fantastic results for the CIM Level 3 Marketing Principles exam reflect the students’ hard work and dedication. Studying part-time alongside a full-time job is a big commitment and takes dedication. I was really impressed by their eagerness to learn which made them a pleasure to teach.
“Each student really engaged with the lesson content and applied their independent thinking to ensure the success of their studies.”
The course allows working professionals to gain a recognised qualification alongside their practical experience, studying one evening a week. The course is also ideal for an aspiring marketer, or someone who has recently joined the industry and is looking to gain knowledge.
Millie Coletta recently completed the course while working full-time as a marketing assistant for a law firm in Milton Keynes. She said: “I really enjoyed the course, and being someone who didn’t go to university, I really feel a great sense of achievement. It has opened a lot more opportunities for me going forward. I met a lovely bunch of classmates and our tutor was fantastic and so supportive.”
The course is made up of two modules:
- Marketing Principles provides an understanding of the function of marketing within organisations and what factors can influence consumer behaviour.
- Digital Essentials provides insight into what is meant by digital marketing and the key factors to consider when developing digital marketing campaigns.
