The L&Q Place Makers Fund is available to local organisations that share L&Q’s commitment to changing lives and enhancing communities. Milton Keynes College deliver the training element of L&Q’s apprenticeships and know from working with them how passionate they are about engaging with local communities.

The current coronavirus outbreak means this is even more important and we are keen to continue making a positive impact.”, commented Sharon Boot, Community Development Lead at L&Q Group.
In response to the Covid 19 pandemic, the L&Q Place Makers Counties Fund have updated their criteria to focus on the following priority areas:
- People over 70 years old
- People from vulnerable groups
- Social welfare initiatives
- Health and wellbeing programmes
- Addressing anti-social behaviour
- Supporting smaller locally focused charities and volunteer organisations
- People affected by domestic abuse
“We know how hard local charities are working during this pandemic to support local people as well as generate the funds that they need to do this.
