Equality & Diversity Statement

Statement of Commitment
In regards to the recruitment of staff, Milton Keynes College will ensure that a Staff Recruitment and Selection Policy and Procedure is in place and adheres to the Equality Act 2010.
Through the college Personal Development Review process (PDR), the training and development needs of all staff will be identified and supported. Each member of staff is entitled to an annual PDR. Milton Keynes College will make available a range of training opportunities to meet identified needs and ensure that equality and diversity training forms a mandatory part of all staff induction programmes.
The College will make reasonable adjustments to premises or working arrangements to ensure that employees are not disadvantaged on the grounds of any protected characteristic.
