Our Higher Education Experience

As a Higher Education student you will learn in a mature environment at one of our three central campuses. We have made significant investments to create university standard facilities, which will help ensure your time and experience here with us at the College is the best it can be.

The Learning Experience

Students are taught by experienced and specialist staff in modern teaching spaces. To support you with your studies, each campus also has its very own Learning Resource Centre. These are dedicated areas for study where students can discover a range of learning resources from books and magazines to laptops and e-resources. Our Learning Resource Centres also have late night openings for those last-minute cram sessions and coursework deadlines.

All of our students also have access to a Virtual Learning Environment, which hosts key course information, assignments, course notes and study information. This Virtual Learning environment is accessible from any computer, giving you the greatest flexibility in your studies.

Student Life

Milton Keynes College has a thriving student community and a great choice of sports activities, extra-curriculum opportunities and events throughout the year. There are many opportunities for students to get involved with enrichment activities such as volunteering as a Student Ambassador,  joining the Student Council, joining one of our sports clubs or taking part in our annual summer showcase.

Our campuses are vibrant places to study; both our Chaffron Way and Bletchley campuses have full cafeteria services which are the hub of all College life and the perfect place to spend some down time outside of class. You can also enjoy a coffee and pastry at our barista coffee shops at both the Chaffron Way and Silbury campuses.

Student Support

Our extensive student support network is available to all learners across all three campuses. Our dedicated Student Services Team are able to assist and provide a wide range of support ranging from financial support, wellbeing and counselling, career guidance and learning support. To find out more about out Student Services please visit our student support area.

All of our graduating Higher Education students are invited along with their friends and family to attend the dedicated Graduation Ceremony held at the prestigious Woburn Sculpture Gallery in November. Graduation day is the perfect opportunity for students to celebrate their hard work and achievements in a formal setting and the event is a major highlight of the College calendar.  View images from our 2017 Graduation Ceremony.
