The qualification is perfect for those who already work, or aspire to work, in a physical education and school sport setting as it is specifically designed to provide them with a greater understanding of programmes of study for physical education, the national curriculum and the environment in which they will be operating.
You can expect to study units such as:
Ideally you must have five grade 9-5 (A*-C) GCSE’s including English and Maths. Experience within coaching or working with children is essential as well as a 1st4sport Level 2 Coaching Qualification in any sport. You must have a passion for sport and physical activity, and passing this passion on to the next generation. You must be able to and want to work with children. Please note – you will be required to pass a DBS check to successfully gain a place on this course.
