Using Information in Human Resources The unit will examine how research can improve understanding, aid decision-making and provide the basis for a change in practice. They will develop their skills in identifying and reviewing data sources, analysing the findings, drawing conclusions and making recommendations for L&D practice. They will also develop skills in preparing a business report for an L&D solution.
Developing Professional Practice This unit is designed to enable the learner to develop a sound understanding of the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by HRM professionals. Business issues and the contexts of HR This unit enables learners to identify and review the business and external contextual factors affecting organisations and to assess the impacts of these factors on the HR function. Employee Engagement This unit is intended to provide learners with a broad understanding of what is meant by employee engagement, including how it can be linked to and yet be distinguished from other related concepts.
Employment Law The purpose of this unit is to introduce the major areas employment legislation and the employment law system, focusing in particular on ways in which day to day HR activities are subjected to some form of regulation. Managing and co-ordinating the Human Resources function. The purpose of this unit is to introduce learners to human resources activity and to the role of the HR function in organisations in general terms.
Successful completion of CIPD Level 5 qualification leads to Associate membership of the CIPD. Associate membership is the first level of professional membership of the CIPD, and whilst in membership it allows you to use the designation Assoc CIPD after your name to showcase your credentials. It’s an achievement that makes you stand out in your career and is respected and valued by employers. It also emphasises your commitment to continuing professional development and a desire to stay current. On successful completion of this course you may wish to progress to the CIPD Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources Management
