What will I do?

Things you will do on this course include preparing for the world of work; managing and handling finances; learning about staying healthy, including exercise and nutrition; communicating with others and much more. You will get first hand experience of the world of work through our student shop, Inclusively Yours. You will also be able to take advantage of the sports and IT facilities across the College.

What's next?

On achieving your qualifications, you may choose to progress to study a different subject at college. Alternatively, you could progress onto the New Horizons course, which is ideal for you if your main aim is to move onto a Level 1 course, but perhaps you’re not quite ready. You will learn what academic work will be expected of you, start to adapt to the College lifestyle and the new surroundings. You could also move on to a supported internship.

Is it for me?

If you are aged 16-24 years old, have special educational needs or require a supported learning environment and have an interest in preparing for the world of work, then this course is ideal for you.
