This qualification has been developed together with People 1st and the Sector Skills Council to enable learners to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to prepare, cook and finish a range of food products. The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Hospitality Services) is a knowledge-based qualification that has been designed to support practical-based qualifications in hospitality and catering. This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of safe, hygienic and secure working environments, how to work effectively as part of a team, and how to give customers a positive impression of yourself and your organisation. You will also learn about the principles of customer service.
On completion of this qualification you may choose to undertake further study; qualifications you could progress to include:
