This course covers:
You will exit the course with a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) approved Certificate which lasts for three years.
This course will provide you with the necessary certification required by the food hygiene regulations to work in any role within the hospitality industry which involves food handling.
Are you a chef, catering supervisor, kitchen assistant, bar person or have any other role that involves preparing and handling unwrapped foods? The food hygiene regulations require all food handlers to have training in food hygiene and this course will provide you with the necessary certification.
You will be required to sit a multiple-choice question examination or an oral examination if this is more appropriate.
Foreign language examination papers are available upon request, but advanced notification of at least 3 weeks is required.
On successful completion you will be awarded a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH).
Refreshment of this qualification is recommended at least every three years.
