This course covers all of the relevant skills and knowledge you require to offer your clients a first-class service. From an introduction to the treatment, to health and safety requirements, to product knowledge, you will have all of the theoretical knowledge required. You will also learn how to consult, plan and prepare techniques, as well as learn and practice how to prepare and apply lashes, enabling you to meet a broad range of client requirements. You will also cover maintenance and scheduling of lash extensions.
Once you’ve mastered lashes, you could move on to more of The Graduate Professional Academy part-time courses to broaden your offering, including gel nails, spray tanning and deep tissue massage.

It is beneficial for you to have had some lash training prior to this course. However this course has also been designed to support newcomers in industry, so all are welcome. You will be required to have a competent level of English in order for you to be able to comprehend both the theory and practical elements of this course.
You will be assessed by observation and practical assessment on both days. There is also an online module that you will be required to take prior to attending the course.
On completion of this course you will be certificated by Milton Keynes College, please also find that this course is accredited by The Guild of Beauty Therapists. This course will enable you to work self-employed as a Lash Technician or in a salon / spa environment. We suggest you wait for your certificates before trying to obtain insurance.

You do not need to purchase anything for this course due to two kits being supplied as part of your tuition fees.
You will be required to supply 3 models on the first course date and 2 models on the second course date in order for you to complete the Express lash and semi-permanent extension course. Your models will be required to have a skin allergy test. Further details will be supplied by your course tutor.
Please wear beauty tunic and trousers and flat, black closed toe shoes for the course, alternatively if you do not have these smart Black, plain work wear is preferred. Long hair is required to be tied up in a secure bun with natural day make up.
