The learning materials include a number of written assessments which will enable you to demonstrate achievement of the learning outcomes for each unit. Assessments are returned to the College for marking and completion of the qualification is based on successful achievement of unit assessments.

This qualification is a Level 2 Certificate. This qualification is awarded by NCFE.

This qualification requires three to four hours of study each week using the distance learning workbooks. In addition you will be required to successfully complete the tutor marked written assessments as evidence of achievement. This course takes 10 weeks to complete.

Applicants must have lived in the EU for the last three years, currently reside in England, with a postcode outside of Greater Manchester, Liverpool City, Cambridge & Peterborough, Tees Valley, and the West Midlands. Please contact providers in your local area for alternative options.

Applicants aged 24+ do not require any prior academic qualifications, but need a reasonable level of English language ability in order to complete a distance learning course.

Applicants aged 19-23 are eligible for this free course if they have already achieved a full Level 2 qualification or equivalent. Please contact us for clarification if required.
