The Certificate in the Principles of Care Planning comprises of six units:
Unit 1 – Understanding person-centred thinking and planning
Unit 2 – Care planning for the care worker
Unit 3 – Principles of supporting an individual to maintain personal hygiene
Unit 4 – Understand nutrition and hydration in health and social care settings
Unit 5 –Understanding continence care
Unit 6 – Principles of supporting sleep
By undertaking this course, you will gain formal recognition by obtaining a nationally recognised qualification. This will enable you to further your own continuous professional development, which could support you in improving your career prospects. You can also progress onto further qualifications.

Are you a carer who would like to develop their skills and knowledge in this area? This course will provide an understanding of how to implement care plans and how to evaluate these plans and processes.
No formal academic qualifications are required to study this course. Learners must be aged 19+ and have lived in the EU for the past 3 years.
