The course provides team leaders with the foundation skills necessary for their formal development in their role. The Certificate in Principles of Team Leading comprises of eight units:

Unit 3 – Understand how to communicate work-related information
Unit 4 – Understand customers
Unit 5 – Understand how to deliver customer service and resolve problems
Unit 6 – Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues
Unit 7 – Understand health and safety procedures
Unit 8 – Understand how to handle information and mail.
By undertaking this course, you will gain formal recognition by obtaining a nationally recognised qualification. This will enable you to further your own continuous professional development, which could support you in improving your career prospects. You can also progress onto further qualifications.
Is it for me?
This course is suitable for learners who wish to develop the knowledge and understanding required to successfully lead a team. The course does require the learner to reflect on their own experiences, and is therefore only suitable for people who have previously been, or are currently in a team leading job role.
No formal academic qualifications are required to study this course. Learners must be aged 19+ and have lived in the EU for the past 3 years.
