What will I do?

The course provides team leaders with the foundation skills necessary for their formal development in their role. It helps to develop a wide range of team-leading skills covering a number of aspects, including establishing a team, motivation, communication, reporting structures, and the relevant legislation required for the individual to progress confidently within their role.

The Certificate in Principles of Team Leading comprises of eight units:

Unit 1 – Principles of team leading

Unit 2 – Understand business

Unit 3 – Understand how to communicate work-related information

Unit 4 – Understand customers

Unit 5 – Understand how to deliver customer service and resolve problems

Unit 6 – Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues
