Digital Technologies Advanced

There is no denying that we live in a digital world. Phones, tablets, laptops – we can even send messages from our wristwatches. It comes as no surprise that career opportunities have been hugely enhanced by this, with digital advancements having a huge impact on every sector. Ten years ago jobs such as Social Media Managers didn’t even exist. Technical skills are highly sought after, from social media, to animation to advanced coding. Research shows that there is a shortage of digital skills for digital jobs in the UK market with a large percentage of companies suffering technical skills gaps.

Is it for me?

You must be a logical thinker to succeed in IT, be technically minded, and be great at problem solving. You must be able to think on your feet, and be able to think outside of the box. If you want a career with wide progression options, the ability to further your learning and expand your knowledge in a variety of areas, a course in computing is a great place to start.
