What will I do?

You will learn how to design and build a variety of structures and buildings, from garden walls right up to skyscrapers. Covering everything from building basic masonry structures and cavity walling, to construction technology, you will learn in a real life working environment both in and out of the College itself. There will be opportunities for work experience, with trips to working construction sites and visits from guest speakers from the industry.

What's next?

At the end of your course you will have gained enough valuable work experience and industry contacts to kick off your career in the industry. You could also continue your studies, developing your skillset in your chosen trade.

Is it for me?

Do you prefer working with your hands rather than sat at a desk all day? There’s no denying that a career in this industry is primarily physical, however there are excellent progression opportunities within management and leadership too
