What will I do?

We will also support your development in English and Maths which are a key component of all College programmes.

What's next?

After successfully completing the course you could progress onto the Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and then onto the Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.

Alternatively, you could seek an apprenticeship in the sector or enter employment as a Teaching Assistant in primary, secondary or further education settings.

You will be required to complete an initial assessment in English and Maths and achieve an appropriate level.

After successfully completing the course you could progress onto the Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and then onto the Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.

There is continuous assessment through knowledge workbooks online.

Your progress in monitored through theory workshops and one to one sessions with your allocated Workplace Trainer. You will also use the OneFile e-portfolio system.

This qualification is at Level 2 and runs over 3 months.
