What will I do?

Interested in the travel and tourism industry? Want to understand how to apply marketing and business practice to international markets? This course combines a broad understanding of the world of business with a specialist focus on travel and tourism, with an aim of preparing you to study at an Advanced level, or continue your studies with a relevant apprenticeship.

On the Business side of things, you can expect to study Enterprise in the Business World, Finance, Principles of Marketing, Delivering and Improving Customer Services, Business Communication and more. You will also specialise in the UK Travel and Tourism sector, UK Travel Destinations, Customer Experience, International Tourism, and much more.

Work experience is a compulsory element of this course, and you can expect to apply the knowledge and skills you gain to real life business in the industry.

What's next?

This course will prepare you to progress to study at an Advanced level, or take on a relevant apprenticeship within the industry. Your tutors will support you to decide the best pathway for you.

Entry Requirements

You should have a D/3 or above in English and maths, plus evidence that you are working at Level 2.

Students who do not have English Language and maths at grade 4 will be expected to study English and maths as part of their study programme. Students with a grade 2 or below will study Functional Skills, and those with a 3 will study GCSE.
