Welding & Fabrication

About the Industry

Welding & Fabrication is essential to many industries including aerospace, automotive, construction and transport. In any workplace that uses machines, metal products and structures, welders and fabricators are needed. It isn’t something you can learn by reading a book, you need to actually use the equipment and practice in real life situations.  Which is why from day one you will be working with industry-standard equipment such as MIG, TIG and arc welders, CAD software, and more. Attention to detail and precision are vital for any welder, along with the ability to work independently and follow exact instructions. Day-to-day tasks on the job could include anything from inspecting and testing cuts and joins, to operating welding equipment in intense working environments.
