Career Sparks

#

Are you aged 15-24 and not in education or work? Career Sparks can help!

Career Sparks Project is aimed at 15-24 year olds who are not in education, employment or training (or young people who are struggling and at risk of becoming NEET) .

Our aim is to support young people back into education, employment or training. We have dedicated advisors who will provide face to face contact or virtual meetings on teams to discuss an individual’s learning plan.

We also work in partnership with MK Dons, SOFEA, Milton Keynes Council and The Christian Foundation so we have lots of opportunities to support the transition back into work, education or training. We can also help with travel expenses, interview clothes and additional training costs.

Career sparks presents Our Space

Our Space is a weekly workshop supporting young people who have been affected by lockdown and the challenges that this has presented.

This is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect socially and engage in a variety of activities in a space that is free of normal educational demands and pressure.

In the sessions you can expect:

  • Recreational and fun activities tailored to your interests
  • Opportunities to share your experiences with other young people
  • Individual and tailored support with your life plans and career pathways

Our Space runs every Thursday from 10am – 12pm at Sports Central (Elder Gate, Milton Keynes MK9 1EN), starting from the 15th ofApril 2021.

This workshop is open to anyone between the ages of 15 and 24 who is currently not actively engaged in regular education, employment or training.
