We currently offer a Commis Chef apprenticeship, which is a great introduction in to the hospitality career path. Paths include working in a busy restaurant, pub and hotel, it could take you around the world.
Apprentices attend college 1 day a week to complete 20% off the job training then the rest of the week working for an employer developing skills further. During the Commis Chef course, apprentices learn and develop their knowledge, behaviours, and gain skills with knives, vegetables, meat, fish, game, doughs, pastries, and more.
It is an opportunity to develop a creative side with the presentation of dishes and learn all the fundamentals of running a kitchen. At the end of the programme learning there is an end point assessment where an external examiner will come and observe in the workplace.
