Public Services Students Visit Bletchley Fire Station

Thu 18 May 2017 - posted by MK College

Last week, our Level Two Public Services students visited Bletchley Fire Station for a series of activities and exercies - check out the photos in a dedicated album on our Facebook page.

While visiting the station, students were required to roll and unroll fire hoses, climb a ladder and perform a hands-free hold at the top in addition to making their way, partly crawling, blind folded, through a derelict building.

Visits such as this are a key part of the students' study programmes, allowing them to see the lessons they learn in the classroom come to life in a real workplace setting.

Studying Public Services at MK College is the perfect way to start a career in the armed forces, emergency services or the Criminal Justice System. Find out more about all the courses we offer here.
