Welfare services

Students' welfare is a key priority for the College and it is our duty to support those who have any kind of personal or academic problems.

We are committed to providing you with the highest standard of information, advice and guidance during your time at Milton Keynes College, starting before the application process right up until you finish your course and begin the next stage in your life.

There is a welfare support service that is personal, specialist and confidential and which aims always to be respectful and understanding.

Some of the topics we regularly offer support with are:

  • Accommodation, i.e. help finding it and dealing with homelessness
  • Benefit advice, i.e. signposting to various agencies
  • Childcare support
  • Debt management by way of practical advice on a one-to-one basis with a welfare specialist
  • Finances
  • Health
