I was once a team member myself a few years ago, when I rebuilt my life with the support and guidance provided by the Prince's Trust Team programme. My experience of the Prince's Trust inspired me to want to work with young people and help make a difference to their lives. Given the opportunity by the College for a new challenging career opportunity, I have enjoyed two and a half years as an Assistant Team Leader, before stepping up to the team leader role.

I started working at the College a little over a year ago as a team leader on the Prince's Trust programme. I have worked with four teams of students, many of who have gone on to achieve massive success in further education or employment. I shall shortly be starting my fifth team of students and I am still as enthusiastic about it as I was for my first team.

My role at Milton Keynes College is an Assistant Team Leader in the Prince's Trust area. This involves working with the team leaders to prepare work, as well as keeping students focused and motivated. The best thing about working at the College is the professionalism and dedication given to the students to help them succeed.

I have been working at the College for almost six years. Firstly as Team Leader for the Prince's Trust Team programme and for the last three years I have been Area Programme Manager. This special and unique course aims to help and support young people who want to get their lives back on track and builds confidence.

I started working at the College in the Interview and Guidance Team as a Stud
ent Recruitment Advisor and have recently joined the Prince's Trust Team. As a team, we deliver the Prince's Trust Team Programme, which is a 12-week personal development course for students aged 16 - 25 to help towards their next steps in life. I have recently completed my Team Leader Training and am now really looking forward to getting started with my first team!
