  • flexible in-class and/or out-of-class support tailored to meet individual student needs
  • support for students with literacy, numeracy and language needs
  • specialist teaching/support for dyslexic students
  • provision of special equipment, aids and technology where necessary
  • equipment loan, such as hearing loop or laptop
  • making recommendations for examination concessions
  • providing support during examinations where appropriate
  • help for students with a temporary disability.

Learning Support is available to every student of the College - regardless of course or location. Services are provided to students attending college campuses and to students who attend or access learning programmes in the community, in the workplace and via distance learning provision.

Student Responsibilities & Student Charter

It is our policy to maintain an environment where people feel respected, safe and secure, and are able to learn effectively. We have prepared a Student Charter outlining students’ rights and the standards of education they can expect. Students are responsible for their own learning and behaviour.

If you have any specific or individual requirements to make the Charter accessible to you, please contact Customer Services. The charter is available in a variety of languages other than English.
