Helping you into Work

To help you bridge the gap between studying at college and the world of work, we have a range of support services to help you achieve your careers goals.

If you are unsure or would like advice about your next steps, our dedicated Careers Guidance team will be able to guide you through career options including choosing and applying to university and The Work Hive recruitment specialists will assist you in searching and applying for jobs. We encourage all of our students to make the most of these services as we can provide advice and guidance that is individual to you.

We work closely with a range of employers to provide you with work experience, guest speakers, case studies and apprenticeships as well using their sector knowledge to shape your college course. We have strong links with employers such as Santander, Home Retail Group, Mirus IT, Pidy, Amtech and Centre Parcs to name a few.

For examples of how our students are currently working with employers visit our news page. Recent activities include a student-run IT Helpdesk in conjunction with Mirus IT, Chef of the Year Awards with Pidy, a special dining night with Whittlebury Hall and a visit from an Oscar-winning producer of The King's Speech.
