Early Years Nursery
Based at our Chaffron Way campus, our Early Years Nursery is rated "Good" by Ofsted, the government education inspectors. The full report can be viewed via the link at the bottom of this page.
The purpose-built nursery caters for the needs of children from four months to five years, offering flexible childcare that suits your requirements.
We understand how important choosing the right nursery is, which is why we value the role of parents and carers and work in partnership with families to ensure the best possible care for each child.
Nursery staff follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and the activities provided are based on the children's current interests and individual needs.
We carry out observations each week and include children in the planning process. We also invite you, the parent or carer to contribute to your child's experience.
We have four dedicated rooms:
- Baby (4 - 12 months)
- Toddlers (12 months - 2 years)
- 2-3's (2 - 3 years)
- Preschool (3 years until rising 5's)
From the term after your child’s second birthday, there is government funding for either fifteen hours for thirty-eight weeks of the year or eleven hours for fifty-one weeks of the year.
For more information about financial support, please see here. Students may also be eligible for childcare funding. Contact the Welfare and Bursary team to find out more - 01908 684364.
The Nursery is open fifty-one weeks of the year apart from Bank Holidays and one week at Christmas.
