The College also holds the contract to deliver the Offenders' Learning and Skills Service at various prisons and young offenders institutions.

An Exciting Opportunity
This is a combined post which will involve a combined post of lecturer and assessor/trainer. Our Beauty Therapy department within Hair, Beauty& Hospitalities has gained a reputation for offering an excellent range of courses, which fully prepare students for working within this professional industry. Teaching in modern facilities at our Bletchley Campus, you will deliver teaching & assessing from Level 2 to Level 3. We are looking for someone with the drive and enthusiasm to deliver high standards of teaching and assessing, and to play a major part in our long term future.

As the ideal candidate, you will:
• Have proven experience of working within the Beauty industry.
• Hold a relevant occupational qualification in Beauty Therapy (up to L3).
• Ideally hold a teaching qualification (Cert Ed, DTTLS, PGCE).
• Ideally hold relevant assessor and verifier awards (A1, V1, D32, D33).
• Have proven experience of teaching Beauty Therapy at a range of levels from 2 - 3.
• Have good literacy, numeracy and language skills and be willing to develop these further.
• Have well developed interpersonal skills, excellent organisation skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
• Be able to plan effectively with clear objectives that all students understand.
• Be able to use suitable methods and styles of assessment to enable candidates to achieve the aims and objectives of the course.
