The Construction, Engineering and Motor Vehicle department currently has a vacancy for a Technician in the electrical area. This is an ideal opportunity for a talented individual with experience and a vocational qualification in an electrical discipline. In this varied role, you will assist with stock management, provide technical support to students and staff and work to provide an enjoyable, rewarding and safe learning experience for students.

As the successful candidate you will:

• Have proven relevant vocational experience specific to their role.
• Hold a relevant vocational qualification to a minimum of Level 2.
• Have a good basic general education including GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C.
• Have a good working knowledge of Health & Safety issues.
• Have well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative especially outside the education complex.
