Atrium Gallery

The Atrium Gallery is an established exhibition facility on the ground floor of the Bletchley campus, showing the work of former and current students, staff and invited artists from the region. There is almost 100 running feet of space for two-dimensional work, plus secure, glazed display cabinets for some small three-dimensional pieces.

A second public gallery was opened in September 2008 at the new University Centre Milton Keynes, 200 Silbury Boulevard, CMK. Its opening times are 08.00 - 21.00 and the gallery is located on the ground floor, next to the coffee shop, with additional exhibition space on the 1st floor.

Selected Students' Exhibition 2010

Selected Students' Exhibition 2010

Once again this year I am delighted to present work selected from this year's students' final shows.

The aim of this selected exhibition is to showcase some of the best work produced by some of our most promising students and give them their first opportunity to exhibit in a public gallery space. The standard this year was very high indeed and so making a selection was not easy. The sheer breadth and quality of work seen at this year's summer exhibitions was remarkable.

The work featured here represents students from a diverse range of programmes and disciplines including National Diplomas in Graphic Design, Photography and Fine Art and our Foundation Diploma in Art & Design. The age profile of the students represented is also wide, ranging from 17 to nearly 70, proof indeed that age is no barrier to learning and success here in Milton Keynes!

Following their success with us, the vast majority of our students progress on to continue their studies at Universities the length and breadth of the country and so we wish them all well in their future endeavours and hope that having their work chosen for this exhibition will help get them started off to a great future.

The exhibition runs until the end of August.
