Through a series of practical assignments delegates will gradually build up a portfolio of work, including researching and building a website. The programme covers use of the two leading HTML editors, Microsoft FrontPage and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX2004 |

Anyone with an interest in creating websites for commercial or private purposes will find this programme useful. This programme starts at Level 3; therefore, delegates will need good existing computer skills, particularly experience with Windows PCs for text and picture editing. Entry is via a skills test prior to the programme starting to ensure delegates are at the prerequisite level.
On this programme you will learn how to; identify and describe the elements of a web page, identify, describe and implement HTML, access and make use of HTML resources on the web, identify and prepare information to put on the web, design and produce linked web pages, maintain and update linked web pages.
