Principles & Practices of Care

Programme Overview This qualification is designed to give you the opportunity to acquire the knowledge to work effectively in a care setting.  It is based on the TOPSS induction and foundation standards although, some practical training will be required in order to achieve the standards.
Learning Approach Distance Learning with tutorial support.
Qualification Edexcel (BTEC) Certificate for Principles & Practices of Care.
Awarding Body Edexcel (BTEC).
Participant Profile & Programme Content

This programme is suitable for those working within a care setting who wish to pursue a career in this field.

This programme comprises of 3 modules covering :  Principles of Care, Values in the Care Setting and working in the Care Setting. 

 

The learning approach is Distance Learning with tutorial support to complete written assignments. There is no examination for this qualification.

 

Candidates are provided with text based programme materials and workbooks and should have a good knowledge of written and spoken English.

Prince's Trust Team 46 Celebrate

Team MK 46

The event took place at the MK Don’s Stadium at 7pm on the 14th of December 2011. The event was held in the director’s lounge of the stadium MK. The final presentation celebrated the end of the course for the learners of Prince’s Trust Team MK 46.
