This programme is suited to IT technicians who support Windows based IT systems or experienced technicians who would like to move into this field.  This unit can be used toward Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) qualification, 2003 track.  Experience supporting Microsoft Windows software is essential and entry is by interview only.

This programme is designed to measure a candidate's ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot information systems that incorporate a Microsoft Windows 2003 Server environment. This may include managing and maintaining physical and logical devices, managing users, computers, and groups, managing and maintaining access to resources, managing and maintaining a server environment and managing and implementing disaster recovery. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This unit is assessed via an electronic Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) test, 70-290.
