This programme comprises of 4 modules covering the following topics: Introduction to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974; Hazards, risks and risk assessments; Electricity, hazardous substances (COSHH) and fire safety; Work Equipment (PUWER), personal protection Equipment (PPE) and first aid. The learning approach is Distance Learning with tutorial support to complete assignments. Candidates are provided with text based workbooks. |
