There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but candidates will benefit from completing the NCFE level 2 Certificate in Equality & Diversity before undertaking this qualification. This programme comprises of 3 modules covering the following topics: Raising diversity awareness- develop an understanding of equality and diversity by exploring and identifying the main issues that affect the diversity of society today. Managing organisational diversity- explore diversity in organisations, review diversity models and management roles, identify the benefits of effective diversity, and gain an understanding of how diversity can be managed in different organisations. Equal opportunities and diversity legislation- legislation affecting diversity, identifying and exploring types of harassment. The learning approach is Distance Learning with tutorial support to complete assignments. Candidates are provided with text based workbooks. |
