One in four of us will be diagnosed with some kind of mental health problem at some point in our lives. This course will enhance learners' understanding of mental distress and provide some of the knowledge required to deliver person-centred and hope-inspiring mental health care.

Programme Content

The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Working with People with Mental Health Issues (adult pathway) comprises four units.

  • Unit 01: Mental health and mental health issues
  • Unit 02: Approaches to care and management in mental health
  • Unit 03: Change and support in relation to mental health
  • Unit 04: Aspects of care and management of an adult with mental health issues
