Those wishing to achieve a nationally recognised award that proves competence in Health & Social Care. Care workers, in residential and domiciliary care will particularly benefit from this programme. This programme meets the National minimum requirements for the Care Standards Act 2000. This programme comprises of 3 mandatory units and 3 optional units.
The mandatory units are: Communication With and Complete Records for Individuals, Support the Health and Safety of Yourself and Individuals and Ensure Your Own Actions Support the Care Protection and wellbeing of Individuals. Candidates are provided with programme workbooks and 12 hours of assessment support.
