This programme is an ideal starting point for anyone wishing to learn about installing, upgrading, or troubleshooting computer hardware or software. It is popular for providing the foundation knowledge required to work as a technician in the IT industry. There are no formal entry qualifications; however, delegates may find some IT knowledge and experience of computers particularly valuable.
Candidates successfully completing this programme will be able to; demonstrate understanding of the processes involved in installing, configuring and upgrading hardware and software in a computer system, demonstrate understanding of the processes involved in diagnosing and troubleshooting computer system hardware and software, demonstrate the importance and functionality of preventive maintenance.
