Cisco Systems are one of the leading manufacturers of computer networking devices. This programme is based on Cisco routers, switches, hubs and a fully operational network of computers that you will learn to install, configure, troubleshoot and manage. Cisco CCNA is widely recognised in the IT industry as a benchmark qualification for network support technicians. |

Delegates attend taught sessions and workshops to gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills. They will also have access to online and printed materials supplied by Cisco. |

You may require this qualification if your work entails supporting Cisco or other manufacturer’s network hardware. This programme is suitable if you have existing knowledge of computer systems and would like to further your career in the IT industry or move into the field of supporting data networks. Entry is by interview only. This programme is not recommended for candidates with no previous technical experience with computer systems.
There are four components to the programme all assessed by a Cisco electronic test: Network Fundamentals, Router and Routing Basics, Switching and WAN Technologies.
