Those wishing to develop a knowledge and understanding of drugs. This programme would benefit anyone who wants to be educated in drugs related issues for example, parents of young people, social workers, councillors, outreach workers and police.
The programme comprises of 7 modules covering a variety of topics such as: Symptoms, Effects and Paraphernalia of Drug Use, Volatile Substance Abuse and Drugs Use and Air Borne Viruses.
The learning approach is Distance Learning with tutorial support to complete assignments, leading to examination. Candidates are provided with text based programme materials and workbooks.
