Participant Profile & Programme Content

The A1 Assessor’s qualification is a requirement for those who are performing the NVQ Assessor’s role. The qualification must be achieved within 18 months of registration, in line with national minimum standards. This qualification consists of one unit the A1, which is an optional unit within the NVQ Level 3 Learning and Development qualification. The learning approach is through a 1 day workshop and assessor tutorial support.

There is no examination for this qualification. Candidates are provided with handbooks and 14 hours of assessment support

Location 1 day workshop to be held at a Milton Keynes College location or if appropriate at a designated business site.  Assessments to be conducted in workplace or at the College.
Length of Programme Qualification must be achieved within 10 months
