Higher Education

The College provides progression routes for students by offering a range of HE courses that include Foundation Degrees, HNDs and professional qualifications.

We work closely with employers to ensure that we develop our curriculum in highly relevant ways. For those living locally, we provide the opportunity to study while living at home to help minimise the high costs of HE and our flexible courses can often be combined with existing employment.

Depending on which course you choose to study, teaching may take place at either the Chaffron Way or Bletchley campus, but you might also been studying at our University Centre based on Silbury Boulevard.

This purpose-designed building provides state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of the city centre and is just five minutes’ walk from the rail and bus stations, and close to all the amenities this vibrant new city has to offer.

What is HE?

Higher Education refers to those courses offered at Degree level or equivalent (level 4 or higher). They offer the opportunity to be challenged intellectually and personally, to develop new ways of thinking and to acquire valuable new skills, which can be directly applied to the workplace.

HE courses require a significant degree of independent study and thought, but although this process is stretching and demanding, the rewards for students are huge. We will work closely with you to ensure that you are well-supported throughout your studies and feel able to cope with the intellectual demands placed upon you.
