Foundation Learning

Our Foundation Learning (FL) courses are all about preparing you for employment, training or courses in further education. Our Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD) courses offer choices for students to develop independent living and work skills in a supported environment, both in the classroom and out in the community. All of these courses are designed to help you make the right decision about your future, whether in work or in education, and to get you on the right track.

As well as our classroom and community-based learning programmes, we are also proud to offer students a unique learning experience at our brand new on-site Horticultural Centre. The specially designed facility gives disabled students and those with learning difficulties and disabilities the opportunity to learn independent living and enterprise skills whilst developing horticultural knowledge. With raised beds, a greenhouse and a traditional garden shed, the entire facility including a purpose-built teaching room and changing facilities, is the ideal holistic environment to develop as an individual at College.
