Health and Social Care Employer Event

Health and Social Care Employer Event

Introducing the sector to the new QCF Diplomas in Health and Social Care

A very well attended employer event was held on Wednesday 19th January at the Chaffron Way Campus to introduce Care Sector employers to the new QCF Diplomas in that have been introduced from this month.  The event was also a platform for introducing the new Apprenticeship frameworks for Health and Social Care - which will be introduced to the College's Apprenticeship curriculum from February.

Two informative presentations were followed by lively discussion on the impact to the sector of new qualifications, future funding arrangements and the demise of Train to Gain.  Employers were keen to see how the new qualifications will link in with mandatory training requirements for the sector and future implications for inspection.

If you are interested in employing an Apprentice within your organisation, wish to know more about the new QCF qualifications or wish to talk to one of our advisors about training for your existing staff, please telephone our Business Helpline on 01908 637056 or email: business@mkcollege.ac.uk
