Bursary

**Bursary Fund and Benefits**

Payments from the Bursary Fund may affect the student's entitlement to means-tested social security benefits, for example, income support, housing benefit or council tax benefit.

Students who are worried about the impact of the Bursary Fund on their benefits should consult an experienced adviser, for example, at a Citizens Advice Bureau or their Job Centre Plus contact.

Applications for the 2011/2012 College Bursary schemes have now closed for this academic year. Details and application forms for the 2012/2013 College Bursary schemes including 20+ Childcare financial support will be posted on this website page when funding has been allocated by government. It is hoped that we will be able to launch the new student support funding package from 1st August 2012.
